My friend Trish from My Little Drummer Boys encouraged me to join Weekly Winners. My mom originally told me about it, so I must give her credit too! When I checked out Lotus’s site I thought that Weekly Winners was a contest for photographers to enter. It’s not though, anyone can enter.
It’s just a chance to show off your favorite snaps from the past week. I guess how it goes is this:

I am NOT a photographer!
I just like to take pictures.
It’s the best way I know of it capture the moments that my absentminded mind easily forgets. As you recently witnessed, I’m doing very well if I can just remember what day it is that I’m living. Sadly, I can’t claim this as something that began with either motherhood or pregnancy. I’ve ALWAYS been nuts. Sometimes I’d even show up for the wrong classes!

In other news:
Work/life/sleep: Darren did a double on Thursday. It was a mandate, so he didn’t know about it ahead of time. Mandates are super-duper for money, but so mess us up! It means sleeping the whole next day (for Daddy) and feeling incredibly groggy. Even our meal times get weirded out. Odd that Deeder and I should feel extra tired since we don’t actually have to stay up all night.
On the Internet: We are now connected independent of our neighbor! This is really great, but strange. Strange because the Verizon activation isn’t supposed to be until Tuesday. We have the software because at our house two houses ago we used the same service that we just signed up for again. When we installed it last night it worked right away.
On the hour: It’s 1:53 right now and I haven’t showered. Should do that. Ta.

Oh, and 12am CST = 1am (Sunday) for Eastern Standard Time, since we’re an hour ahead of those guys in the middle of the US!
