We can do this

I’ve mentioned on my blog so many times the possiblity of moving that I really don’t expect you to think anything of it–I’m a faker, a wisher and nothing’s going to come of it. And I feel that way, often.

We are going to do it though! This time.

I’m completely tired of hearing the numbers rolled out on all the different possible moving options. I had no idea on how many ways there were to move nor how crazy high the numbers were. At the end of the day everything is enormously expensive, even the “cheap deals”. It all evens out, evens out to too much for anyone in their right mind ever to spend. I guess we’re in our wrong minds!

We’ve made progress, since the last time I excitedly told you that we were thinking about moving.

Now instead of counting out the practicalities for and against moving we’re counting out the money that it’ll take to leave. It 3300 miles that we’re coving and that adds up mighty mighty high.

Even though we’ve forked over (somehow that seems to be a fitting way of putting it) our credit card number to a moving company and given them a date I still feel like our mind could change.

It’s not when or if, it’s how.

I wont even get into the options we’ve talked about on how to get all of our things there because it makes my head spin and I’d feel even more spinny if I tried to type it out.

I’ll add more later, perhaps tomorrow, or the day after that…

Our current leaving-this-home-for-another-one moving date is August 28th.

I’m hoping you’ll be able to narrow down what you need to transport cross-country. Maybe that would help a little with the expense? Any way you look at it, though, moving is a trial, no doubt about it.
