Without Blogging

At the end of the day I have no report on where either of these pairs of feet went or what they did.

Yesterday I found this to be the case when my husband asked me how the kids were. I had no strong memories of the day either way. Was it a good one or was it hard? That Tuesday was ordinary, kind of lived but not marked by anything particulary odd or interesting. Perhaps I had forgotten that each moment counts, or is it okay for things to blend a little?

I’m trying harder today, writing down that I forgot hoping that it’ll mean I’ll forget less tomorrow and the next day.

Today’s memories:

Carly’s crying, like constantly. She napped in the swing and only for half the time that she usually has an afternoon snooze in bed.

Deeder ate a whole pb&j sandwich this afternoon. He also picked up books when asked, very cool.

And my brother Michael called to tell us that he graduated (from WWU) with a double major of Math and Computer Science. Congrats, Mitch! This past summer he interned at Microsoft, and has a job waiting for him there.

Today I wrote down a list of several places for Darren and I to look at. I am semi-secretly hoping that the duplex near my friend from church despite it all seeming unlikely.

I love this blog, I wish everyday I could have this thought to do this. Time gets ahead of everything, and when I lay in bed at night I can’t remember half the day.

Amanda’s last blog post..not so sweet baby any more!
