The wind is so crazy–and it’s cold.

Snow continues to be in the forcast, but as yet we’re not getting any here.

Can you see the cold in the above pictures? Notice the iced over planter box pond that just a couple days ago I took pictures of as a beautiful reflective spot with happy gold fish swimming about. They’re deep underneath now and somehow will still be alive in spring, that’s so cool!

My dad was in and out of the house all day bringing in wood to keep the living room woodstove going–it heats the whole house and bakes whomever is sitting in the living room!

The kids stayed safe and warm indoors.

It’ll be a while before they get out to play again.

So far they’re happy to play together around the house, but I don’t doubt that Deeder’ll notice the general theme of our days and be begging to exit.

I wish we had those warm temps it is -20 here with lots snow and
wind with -50 wind chills. Looks like it like this for a long time. Have a
    warm week.

It’s warmer here! For some reason that makes me very happy. So I’m evil. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to say Alaska is colder than America! I know I just jinxed myself.

The picture of the woodstove is my favorite! Ah, the coziness!
The temp has gone up to 24 degrees this evening. It’s supposed to snow tomorrow, but we’ll see, I guess. :P
