First Snow

The snow has come to NW WA! :)

Despite my overdose of snow in VT last winter I heard my self say, “Hey look! It’s snowing!!” as if I hadn’t seen the stuff in many a moon. Of course the hour was 9am so no one was around to hear me, except Carly who probably could care less.

Deeder however did remember snow.

No, Mommy?

I think that was a little reversion to how he used to talk, the ole leaving off a first consonant deal.

Here’s what the back yard looked like by 3:30pm:

I’m happy to be living in a temperate climate where 4 fluffy light inches of snow is exciting and it’s time upon the ground is treasured. Of course the bummer here is that underneath that cute little layer is ice–probably thick and without a doubt, dangerous!
