such a difference

Deeder slept all night, waking looking refreshed and perfectly happy to swing into his morning routine with grace. He didn’t wake for any of the four trains that go by between 8 and 7am, in fact it was I who got up expecting his normal fits of crying. The only change that we made was adding a fan to his room–what a wonderful difference it made! Thanks to those of you who suggested this. :)

(Deeder sacked out on the couch after a restless night)

(He only does this because he gets licorish for “going”)

I’m going to add a fan to Carly’s room tonight, perhaps she’ll sleep longer hours too? Or maybe waking at 6:45AM and getting up twice at night just comes with being a baby. We’ll try. :)

We have always used a fan or sound machine with rain sounds in Aidan’s room. Works wonders!

Good for Deeder- for sleeping through the night and using the potty! We’re officially back to just one in diapers (except for nights and naps, but I think those will happen soon.)

Dad says, “Yay!” about the potty training. :)

Glad that feller is sleeping better at night.

Yep, fans are miracles. We put one in Tater’s room out of necessity last summer – it was just TOO hot and I cannot bring myself to leave his window open when we aren’t in there watching him.

Well, he used the fan all winter and even though he’s always been a pretty sound sleeper I think it’s really helped. Now when we need to wake him up some mornings, we don’t have to struggle with trying to get him to wake up…we just turn off the fan and up he goes! :)
