Hard to Resist

I so easily could have handed over $350 for this beautiful baby girl (she’s just six and half weeks old), tossed her in my backpack and taken her home to join my other two puppies, Diederick and Carly.

It took reading on line that Saint Bernards grow to be 200lbs, eat a lot, poop a lot and drool constantly. They require daily brushing and what would I do with the pup when our new baby comes in October.

What a beautiful dog, oh I just loved her. And Deeder did too :)
There are eleven puppies in the litter, oh so cute.

oh my gosh, what a beautiful pup! Someday I’d love to have a St. Bernard, but I’m sure that day is a long ways off :) My dog is still happy and healthy, so for now, he’ll be the only pup I have :)

Perhaps one day your ‘litter’ will have a dog to call their own!

    Resist, by any means possible!!!

St. Bernard puppies are very cute and very big, almost as big as Deeder!

When I was a teenager my dream was to have a St. Bernard…….then I met one. Huge, Yes, drool OH YES!! That cured me. Have you watched Marley & Me?

Maybe a dog breed that doesn’t require so much grooming, and doesn’t grow to be quite that large would be good.
I’ve heard that mixed-poodle breeds can be wonderful. Then you wouldn’t have such a shedding problem.
That is a very cute puppy, though.

Cute dog! We’re waiting a while before we add puppy; probably a Portuguese water dog (which we’ve liked since long before one entered the White House) or a poodle mix (as GrammaMomma has pointed out, a low-shedding dog is top of my list).
